1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using SmartArticleBot (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free trial and paid subscribers.

2. Description of service

SmartArticleBot is an AI-powered content platform that crawls your website, generates keyword plans, writes SEO articles, and publishes them to your connected CMS (WordPress or Shopify) on an automated schedule. Article generation is subject to the monthly quota of your subscription plan.

3. Accounts

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Unused article credits do not roll over to the next billing period.
• We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful.
• Publish spam, misleading information, or content designed to manipulate search rankings through deceptive means.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying AI models or proprietary algorithms.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.

6. Content ownership

Articles generated by the Service are owned by you. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and fact-checking AI-generated content before publication. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of generated content.

7. CMS access

By connecting a CMS (WordPress or Shopify), you grant us permission to publish content to that platform on your behalf. Your credentials are encrypted and used solely to fulfil article publishing. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting the CMS in your dashboard or revoking the credentials in your CMS settings.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will achieve specific SEO outcomes. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartArticleBot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms, non-payment, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SmartArticleBot operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration before resorting to litigation.
